THE ROYAL BRITISH LEGION WOMEN’S SECTION, SUTTON SCOTNEY

The Royal British Legion Women’s Section meet on the first Tuesday of the Month at 2pm.

Most meetings are held in the Meeting Room of the Victoria Hall, and others we go out.

The Royal British Legion Women’s Section was formed over 100 years ago, our aim has always been to help the Serving and Ex- Serving community.  Between the 2 World Wars we set up a wardrobe scheme, and after the 2^nd World War set up and ran Children’s Homes for orphan children.  We now have a number of schemes of all ages and in 2022 we became involved in helping the Friends and Families of the Invictus Games to support the competitors by paying for them attend the Training Sessions and the Games.  The next Invictus Games is in Canada in February 2025.
